Recently, the Dutch basketball organizations the Nederlandse Basketball Bond (NBB) and the Stichting Nederlands Mannen Team decided to join forces under the name Basketball Nederland. And it was up to Megawatt to develop a suitable new identity.

Preliminary research showed that both organizations are based on the same core values: passion, ambition & community. With that in mind, the idea to use a lion as starting point for the design arose. Powerful, iconic, and a clear symbol that unites the Dutch. A story we reinforce with the tagline Ready to Roar.
