Case
In collaboration with stichd, Megawatt Fieldmarketing was asked to provide the festive activation for Tommy Hilfiger this year. This iconic American fashion brand makes beautiful clothing, but did you know their socks are pretty amazing too? Socks, you say? ‘That’s a great gift under some Christmas tree.’ Our thoughts exactly. We were asked to make the purchase of a pair of real Tommy socks as attractive as possible.

Approach
It’s December and the gift-buying-stress is real. What are we getting for our family and friends this year? The content of the gift is important, but during the holidays, beautiful packaging is the first runner up. Together with stichd we designed and produced a wrapping station. At the wrapping station, consumers can have their purchased Tommy Hilfiger socks wrapped by one of our Superchargers. In December we will be at the Bijenkorf in Amsterdam and the Manor Basel in Switzerland. We had a perfect setting planned for Rotterdam but due to the lockdown it got cancelled.

Realization
As mentioned, a beautifully wrapped gift always works. However, we came up with a nice extra to make the total package even more personal. We personalise the package with a beautiful letter of your choice. Completely "on brand" of course. We cannot share results yet because the activation is still pending when this case is published. We wanted to invite you to our setting in Rotterdam but the second lockdown made this impossible. You can visit us in Switzerland but make sure you’re already there. Keep it safe!
