When the Women’s World Cup kicked off this summer, Nike wanted everyone to know. Not only by designing all the uniforms but also by creating awareness around the world regarding Women’s soccer. It was up to us to take this important task to the next level and bring this activation to life. With our national star player Lieke Martens in the spotlight we were ready to go.


We were eager to inspire every young girl to maybe, one day, be a soccer player hero. You are never too young to pick up the ball and get excited. By giving away an interactive poster the girls could not only enjoy a great giveaway on sight, but marvel at it back home too.

It’s custom to wave our national team goodbye and wish them the best of luck in the tournament. Therefore the kick-off of the national activation was in the fanzone at the Philips Stadion. From there we visited girls soccer tournaments all around the Netherlands. We were able to reach 30.000 girls in a short period of time and hopefully kept the ball rolling for even longer.
