2015
On june 10th, Megawatt Advertising and Megawatt Fieldmarketing were founded by Stephan Kwast, Simon Coolen and Richard Dillen.
2016
After an intensive process, Megawatt becomes preferred activation partner of GroupM (part of WPP).
2017
Megawatt Fieldmarketing becomes the new Experiential Marketing agency for Coca-Cola Company Netherlands.
2019
With the establishment of Megawatt Digital, the third branch within Megawatt Group, a unique proposition is launched in the Benelux. A combination of a creative agency, an experiential marketing agency, and a digital-first agency.
2020
Due to the strong growth of the three agencies, a new office is opened at the site where Philips once produced its first lamps. Now it serves as the base for top designer and creator Piet Hein Eek, situated in the creative heart of Eindhoven.
2022
Start of the B Corp certification project. Founding of Megawatt Branding agency, the fourth agency under the Megawatt Group.
2023
In collaboration with Scale Up Company, a project is initiated to accelerate Megawatt’s growth and implement future ambitions, growth strategies, and optimizations within the various agencies.
2024
The year in which all four-Megawatt labels merge and together, as of January 1st, from the new proposition as one strong Megawatt. The outcome of an intensive strategic process started in 2023. The year we became B Corp Certified.
2025
After undergoing a major restructuring, Megawatt has their best year ever! We're also returning to our core value: Energy. 2025 was all about operational excellence, a strong team, and incredibly happy customers.
